Exporting to Google Drive
Connect Google Drive and save exported profiles straight into a Drive folder as PDF or DOCX.
Connect your Google Drive to save an exported profile directly to a folder, without downloading and uploading it again. It works in both PDF and DOCX, with the same templates as a normal download.
#Connecting Google Drive
The connection is per person. Each member connects their own Google account.
- Open My account and find Google Drive in the Connected accounts card.
- Choose Connect Google Drive.
- Sign in with Google and approve the request.
#What Sourcemint can access
Sourcemint asks for the narrowest Google Drive permission, drive.file. It can see only the files it creates and the folders you pick. It cannot browse or change the rest of your Drive.
#Saving a profile to Drive
- Open the profile and choose Download.
- Choose Save to Google Drive….
- Pick a Folder: My Drive, one of your recent folders, or another folder from the Google picker.
- Pick a Template and a Format, PDF or DOCX.
- Optionally turn on Open after saving, then confirm.
The file name matches a normal download. Sourcemint remembers your recent folders and offers the last one you used first.
#Disconnecting
Choose Disconnect next to Google Drive on My account. Sourcemint revokes its access with Google and deletes the stored connection. Files already saved stay in your Drive.
#Troubleshooting
- Google Drive is not connected. You have not connected yet or you disconnected. Connect from My account.
- Reconnect required. Access was revoked in your Google account settings. Connect again.
- The folder picker does not open. Allow pop-ups for Sourcemint and give the picker a moment to load.
