Conversion settings
Control how Sourcemint processes your CVs: summaries, anonymization, date formats and file names.
Conversion settings control how your organization's CVs are processed. They apply to everyone in the organization. Find them under Administration → Profiles.
#Available settings
#Summary
The short paragraph at the top of each profile. Choose how Sourcemint handles it:
- Use existing, generate if missing. Keep the summary from the CV and write one only when the CV has none.
- Always generate. Write a new summary for every profile.
- Don't generate. Leave the summary as it is in the CV.
When Sourcemint writes a summary you can pick presets or enter your own prompt. The presets set the length (short, 1–3 sentences, or extended, 4–5) and the perspective (first or third person).
#Formatting
- Anonymize company names. Replaces employer names with a generic description, so you can present a candidate without revealing where they worked.
- Enforce one date format. Writes every date in the format you choose, so profiles look uniform however the original CV wrote them.
#File name
Build the pattern for downloaded files from the fields you add, and choose the separator placed between them. An example shows the resulting name.
#When settings apply
Choose Save settings at the bottom of the page to apply your changes. Summary and formatting settings are applied when a CV is imported. They affect newly uploaded CVs, not profiles that already exist. To apply a changed setting to an existing profile, upload its CV again.
